About the Author

I was born in Hawaii to Samoan (mostly) parents and raised around the Pacific. On numerous occasions my father used to describe me as 'a jack of all trades - almost master of some of them'. Essentially this means that I'm a fiapoko. I enjoy talking story with people of all ages and all walks of life - especially when there's food on the table. Turn on some world music, hand me a cold can of root beer (and a glass mug with vanilla ice cream) and I'm creative good. #HermannKnowsNothing"
